50 people, of every shape and size. And some children. And three dogs, so far. We have a stash of dog treats in the cupboard which have come in very useful.
The flags are great; people walking back from the local park are stopping just to see what's going on.We have six pennants and two temple flags from Bali, three 'Open House' flags from the USA and one carnival flag from Same Sky in Brighton (thanks to Horsham District Council).
As well as the dog walkers and friendly neighbours, there are the dedicated festival followers. You can spot the serious ones. Guide in hand, a clutch of pages printed off from Multimap, sensible shoes.
And usually, a bag full of postcards, leaflets and small purchases from other houses. Thanks, people!
